The team

The Marketing & Communications team is an integral part of our commercial department, driving the brand presence and commercial success of our esteemed hotel. Comprising a dedicated group of professionals including a Marketing Director, M&C Manager, M&C Coordinator, Digital Content Marketing Assistant, Social Media and Content Marketer, and a Trainee. This team is responsible for all marketing and communications efforts across the hotel (including rooms and MICE facilities), its restaurants, and the spa. Our collective goal is to increase brand awareness, strengthen our market positioning, and drive conversion.

Key responsibilities

As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's objectives and ensuring the smooth execution of our marketing and communications strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting all marketing and (internal & external) communications activities to achieve the M&C objectives and KPIs.
  • Managing the marketing inbox, serving as the central point for all marketing support requests. In collaboration with the M&C Manager, you will distribute tasks across the team and maintain an overview of ongoing projects.
  • Assisting in the development of multi-channel campaigns for the hotel and its restaurants. You will support the execution of these campaigns with the aim of independently managing them in the future.
  • Being the linking pin in the creation of M&C materials and all company-related printed matters, coordinating with external suppliers for design and printing.
  • Managing and updating the hotel website (adding and editing pages) in collaboration with the Digital Content Marketing Assistant.
  • Contributing to the content calendar and actively encouraging the team to keep it up-to-date.
  • Supporting the handling of press inquiries and assisting in the organization of press events.
  • Creating internal memos to update stakeholders on marketing and communications matters.
  • Staying up-to-date of the latest trends in Marketing & Communications and conducting competitor analysis to identify opportunities.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual who meets the following criteria:

  • HBO (higher professional education) thinking level.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience in a comparable role.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, fluent in both written and spoken communication.
  • Highly service-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
