What can you expect

The sales department strives for the optimal revenue mix between hotel rooms, restaurants, banquet space and the spa.

 You would be responsible for developing and maintaining an account base within Europe with a strong focus MICE. You are responsible for generating revenue and new business opportunities for Hotel Okura Amsterdam and meeting planned revenue objectives. You are actively involved on a daily basis in securing, qualifying and following up on potential business and are constantly looking for the next business opportunity. Your main tasks will be:

• Developing and maintaining close relationships within your portfolio;
• Creating and following up on opportunities in order to create new businessMeeting revenue objectives with regards to existing and new business;
• Give suggestions on direct selling activities to maximize revenues in managed market segments;
• Give input on the hotel’s sales plan based on the needs of the managed market segments;
• Actively increasing revenue with the help of external sales calls, telemarketing and in-house sales calls;
• Actively participates in the relevant road-shows, trade fairs and other events in collaboration with our Sales & Marketing partners;

Don't worry you will not be working alone. Besides working in your own team, you will also work with other departments in the hotel. Only by working together can we achieve the best results. Work is carried out from Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00. You may need to be present during events held in the evening or on weekends.

• Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay!
