Accounting Clerk - Accounting Department

What can you expect

The Financial department, amongst other duties is responsible for processing all turnover and costs. 

As an Accounting Clerk, you share joint responsibility, together with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, for handling of all outstanding accounts and a healthy cashflow of the Hotel. Your main tasks will be:

  • Creating F&B Report on a daily basis.
  • Create and post revenue transfers
  • Checking and sending individual invoices related to overnight stays or restaurant visits on a daily basis.
  • Checking and Posting food, beverages, store and general invoices.
  • On a monthly basis Checking and Posting the physical inventory for the beverages of all F&B outlets.

Don't worry you will not be working alone. Besides working in your own team, you will also work with other departments in the hotel. Only by working together can we achieve the best results. Your working days will be between Monday and Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00. We offer the possibility to work part time, preferably 3 days a week.

 

What do we offer?

  • Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay!
  • Salary: Group 5. Click HERE for the salary scale 
  • Bonus: 1 week salary when the hotel reaches the budgeted GOP (Gross Operating Profit)
  • 8% holiday allowance (pro rata);

  • After obtaining the probationary period, you will receive an overnight stay with breakfast as a gift (2 people), so that you can experience the hotel as a guest!


    What are we asking?
    Of course, we are first and foremost interested in you and what we as an employer can do for you to provide a great workplace. Nevertheless we expect from you that:

    • You have excellent knowledge of both Dutch and English (fluency in both written and spoken);
    • You preferably have work experience in a similar position;
    • You are precise and result-oriented;
    • You are service-oriented and possess strong communication skills;
    • You have excellent knowledge of Office and knowledge of Opera is an advantage
