Maintenance Engineer - Engineering Department

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a technical all-rounder several years of experience and an MTS or MBO diploma. You have knowledge of Dutch laws and regulations in the technical field and experience with technical drawings and documentation. We also offer you plenty of opportunities for internal training and development within your field.
What you will do:
- You solve technical malfunctions together with your team.
- You perform preventive maintenance.
- You occasionally support (the setup of) events.
- You carry out maintenance and repair work within the hotel.
- You solve technical problems reported by guests or colleagues.
- You conduct inspections.
- You fill in reports and inspection lists and keep the logbook up to date.
- You report and/or resolve damage or dangerous situations.
What we offer:
- One year contract with possibility of extension, shorter contract is also possible.
- A salary between € 2,424.96 - € 3,335.06 (depending on experience).
- Holiday pay and vacation days.
- Pension arrangements.
- Bonus: One week's salary when the hotel achieves its budgeted GOP (Gross Operating Profit);
- 25 vacation days per year + vacation budget
- €1000 training budget.

- Once a year, a 50% staff discount in one of the restaurants.
- Staff discount in the restaurants (20%).
- Travel allowance from 10 km (one way).
- After completing the probationary period, you will receive an overnight stay with breakfast as a gift (for 2 people), so you can experience the hotel as a guest!

Once your application has been evaluated, we will call you for a brief chat and ask you a few questions about your application. We will also explain the next steps in the application process.
First interview
In this interview, we get to know each other better. We are pleased to share information about Hotel Okura Amsterdam and the position and there is room for you to ask your questions. Of course, we are also curious about you and whether we are a match!
Second interview
In this interview, we will dive a bit deeper into the position itself as we will ask you questions about your competencies and more detailed questions about your previous experience in relation to the position.
Reference check
We will ask you to provide a reference from your previous employer(s) and we will ask them a few short questions.
Offer
