What to expect

Serre Restaurant is a Bib Gourmand recognized venue due to its excellent price – quality ratio. Guests are welcome the whole day, should it be for a business lunch, well deserved glass of wine, great dinner with friends or a celebratory family get together.

As a trainee you are responsible in offering the excellent service in Serre Restaurant. Your responsibilities include advising and guiding the guest as well as providing the service at a high level!  Your main tasks will be:

  • Offering service to guests;
  • Having good knowledge of the menu;
  • Carrying out mise en place activities in the restaurant and pantry;
  • Conforming reservations;
  • Having good knowledge of coffee and tea;
  • Welcoming and guiding guests;

Don't worry you will not be working alone. Besides working in your own team, you will also work with other departments in the hotel. Only by working together can we achieve the best results. Work is carried out in shifts throughout a 7-day workweek. You will work 5 days per week, 7.6 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays.

Serre Restaurant Apprentice

Serre Restaurant is opened in 2011 and is awarded with a Bib Gourmand for it’s excellent price/quality ratio. In Serre Restaurant, a selection of Ciel Bleu’s signature dishes of the last years is presented in a new way. The menu includes classical as well as innovative dishes and forms an international blend of diverse dishes. The quality and presentation are in the style of Ciel Bleu, presented in a fresh way

Don’t worry, you’re not alone! The Serre Restaurant team consists of 14 employees; one Assistant Service Manager, four Restaurant Supervisors, five Waiters, one Senior Waiter, two Interns and one Apprentice.

Work is carried out in shifts during 7 days a week. You work 5 days a week, 7,6 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays.

What are you going to do?

As apprentice you are responsible for offering excellent service in our Serre Restaurant. Amongst other tasks, you are responsible for advising and guiding guests and offering service on a very high level! Your main tasks are:

    What can you expect as a Serre Restaurant Apprentice?

    Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, a delicious business lunch, a drink or dinner at Serre The mix of business guests and tourists means that no working day is the same. The menu offers internationally inspired dishes with seasonal fresh produce. In addition, there is an extensive wine list for guests to choose from. You will work with people from all over the world and provide excellent service to our guests. In addition, you will receive many development opportunities and training to develop yourself and your skills.
