What to expect

The English definition of the Japanese word Nagomi, is to “calm down”; the essence of the spa. The 300m2 spa offers an escape out of the bustling city. Besides the treatments in Nagomi Spa, our guests may also enjoy the facilities of the Nagomi Health (previous Executive Health Club), which is located just next to the Spa area.

In this traineeship you will present in both the Nagomi Spa reception and spa area. Your main tasks will be:

  • Welcoming and guiding all guests to the Spa in a hospitable and professional manner;
  • Be always present for our guests;
  • Providing advice to guests concerning the available treatments on personal care;
  • Ensuring for an open and clear communication with other departments;

Don’t worry you won’t be working alone! Besides working in your own team, you will work closely with other departments in the hotel. As only by working together can we achieve the best results. Work is carried out in shifts throughout a 7-day workweek with times consisting of: 08:00 – 16:00, 12:00 – 20:00 and 15:00 – 23:00. You will work 5 days a week, 7.6 hours per day. You are also available to work on public holidays.

  • You are an enrolled student with a specialization in Wellness;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written);
  • You have knowledge about Spa treatments;
  • You have good communication and social skills;

What are you going to do?
During this traineeship you will work in the reception of Nagomi Spa and Nagoma Spa itself.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Welcoming and guiding our guests to the Spa in a courteous and professional manner
  • Advising on- and offering diverse treatments with regards to personal appearances and grooming
  • Maintaining excellent contact with other departments

Working days & working hours
Work is carried out in shifts during 7 days a week. 
You work 5 days a week, 7,6 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays. 
The shifts are as followed 08:00-16:00 hours, 12:00-20:00 hours, 15:00-23:00 hours. 

Who are you?

  • You  are a student with a specialisation in Wellness
  • You have knowledge of spa treatments
  • You are representative
  • You have excellent social and communicative skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written) and preferably speak German, French and Spanish
  • You have a flexible work attitude with regards to working hours

Nagaomi Spa
The Japanese meaning of Nagomi, ‘come to peace’, is the essence of our Nagomi spa. With 300 square meters the spa offers an escape from the dynamic city. Besides a treatment in Nagomi Spa our guests can also enjoy the facilities of Nagomi Health, located next to Nagomi Spa.
