What to expect

Restaurant Ciel Bleu offers a panoramic view of the city of Amsterdam from the hotel’s 23rd floor and has been awarded two Michelin stars. The ultimate Ciel Bleu experience is to exceed guests' expectations in of both food and service.

As a Demi Chef de Rang, you are responsible for being part of the excellent service in Ciel Bleu Restaurant. Your tasks include welcoming and guiding guests, taking reservations, serving of the dishes and ensuring for the direct communication between the kitchen and service team. Your main tasks will be:

  • Operational tasks in the restaurant;
  • Pro-actively selling our products;
  • Working in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Maintaining excellent contact with guests in different languages;
  • Mise and Place activities within the restaurant;
  • Keeping track of restaurant reservations;
  • Following guidelines with regards to safety, Arbo, hygiene and HACCP.

Don't worry, you will not be working alone! Besides working with your team, you will also work closely with other departments in the hotel. Only by working together can we achieve the best results. Work is carried out in shifts throughout a 7 day week. You work 5 days a week, 7,6 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays.

  • Contract:  1 year, with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay!

What are we asking?
