What to expect

In Teppanyaki Restaurant Sazanka, we offer à la minute cooking with Japanese precision to our local as well as international guests. Our guests enjoy seeing Japanese Teppanyaki chefs at work showing their special cooking techniques. We also offer an extensive choice of sakes and wines.
Add to this unique experience, we are looking for colleagues who offer excellent service. We are international service team and working closely with our Japanese chef.

As Waiter/Waitress you are responsible for offering excellent service in our Teppanyaki Restaurant Sazanka. Amongst other tasks, you are responsible for taking orders, serving dishes, handling payments and cleaning the table. Your main tasks will be:

  • Operational tasks in the restaurant, such as taking orders, serving the guests and arrange payments
  • Ensuring that tables and the restaurant remain clean
  • Pro-actively selling restaurant products
  • Maintaining excellent contact with guests

Work is carried out in shifts during 7 days a week. You work minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 5 days a week, 7,6 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays. The shifts are from afternoon till closing of the restaurant.

What are we asking?

Of course, we are first and foremost interested in you and what we as an employer can do for you to provide a great workplace. Nevertheless, we expect from you that: 

  • You have 1 - 2 years of work experience in hotels and/or restaurants
  • You are fluent in either Dutch or English, speaking and understanding Japanese is an advantage
  • Open minded and interested to other cultures
