What to expect
Serre is a Bib Gourmand recognized restaurant, due to the excellent balance between price – quality. Guests are welcome all day; should it be for a business lunch, a well deserved glass of wine, delicious dinner with friends or a celebratory get together with family. The menu presents an international mix with classical and modern dishes. 

As an apprentice you are jointly responsible for preparing a wide variety of dishes of the highest level, carrying out mise and place activities, keeping the kitchen clean, fully carrying out the tasks of the assigned area and development of new items for the menu. Your main tasks will be:

  • Preparation of dishes according to standards, recipe and planning;
  • Contribute to the development of products and items for the menu;
  • Ensuring and guarding the quality of the end product;
  • Ensuring good quality and freshness of ingredients;
  • Ensuring good quality, taste, texture and color of food items and making adjustments when necessary;
  • Following hygiene instructions.

Don’t worry, you will not be working alone. Besides your own team, you will work closely with all other departments in the hotel. Only by working together can we achieve the best results. The apprenticeship shifts will vary throughout the week, with shifts rotating between 12:00 to 22:00. You will work 4 days a week, 8 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays.
