Hotel Okura Amsterdam has four restaurants, which are all awarded by Michelin.
The two Michelin star Ciel Bleu Restaurant led by chefs Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman, maître Pasquinel Kolk and sommelier Noël Vanwittenbergh is situated on the 23rd floor of the hotel. The menu offers an extensive menu that changes four times a year. This is a selection of culinary creations based on fresh seasonal products. In addition to a table in the restaurant guests can also visit the Chef's table, a table adjacent to the kitchen of Ciel Bleu Restaurant. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday for dinner from 6.30 pm until 10.00 pm.
Yamazato Restaurant offers various Japanese dishes from the authentic kaiseki kitchen for both lunch and dinner. In addition to seasonal menus, à la carte dishes and the Bentobox, there is also a sushi bar. The kaiseki ryori kitchen is partly influenced by the ritual of the Japanese tea ceremony in which the Zen philosophy of control and minimalism is propagated.
The restaurant is open daily from 6.00 pm until 9.30 pm for dinner and on Saturdays and Sundays also open from 12.00 pm until 2.00 pm for lunch.
At Teppanyaki Restaurant Sazanka the chefs prepare the most delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes at the table on the hot griddle; à la minute cooking with Japanese precision. Add to this: top-quality ingredients, an extensive range of sake and wine, the Japanese interior and the guest will experience authentic Japanese hospitality at its best. The restaurant is open daily for dinner from 6.30 pm until 10.00 pm.
Serre Restaurant has a Bib Gourmand, which means that they have an excellent price / quality ratio. The restaurant is the place to enjoy international specialties. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, a delicious business lunch, afternoon drinks or dinner. The menu offers internationally inspired dishes with seasonal, fresh produce from the region. In addition, there is an extensive wine list that guests can choose from. The restaurant is open daily from 10.00 am until 10.00 pm.
The breakfast buffet in Le Camelia is a combination of dishes from the various cuisines that Hotel Okura Amsterdam has in house. The seasonal buffet includes influences from both European and Asian cuisine. The restaurant is open from 06.30 am until 10.30 am during the week and from 06.30 am until 11.30 am at the weekend. In addition, the employees also take care of the room service in the hotel. The Main Kitchen is responsible for the preparation of dishes including breakfast and room service, but also the Lobby Bar and Banquet Operations. The Banquet Operations department of Hotel Okura Amsterdam is the largest Banquet Operations department among all five-star hotels in the Netherlands, and is the market leader in terms of turnover and quality. Taking care of the dishes within the Main Kitchen means working at a very high level.
