Hotel Okura Amsterdam has four restaurants, which are all awarded by Michelin.

Ciel Bleu Restaurant

Ciel Bleu Restaurant is led by chefs team Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman, Maître Pasquinel Kolk and sommelier Noël Vanwittenberg and proudly holds two Michelin stars. The restaurant is situated on the 23th floor of the hotel and has a stunning view which makes it a unique place to work. You will work with the most beautiful products and top quality ingredients, for example the award-winning wine list. The unique Ciel Bleu experience is a combination of many elements including a team that is perfectly attuned to each other. As part of the Ciel Bleu team, you will be intensively guided to develop your service and/or kitchen skills. Together we work tirelessly to create a world-class dining experience for our guests every day.

Yamazato Restaurant 

Yamazato Restaurant at Hotel Okura Amsterdam serves authentic Japanese haute cuisine; kaiseki ryori. It is the first traditional Japanese restaurant in Europe to be awarded a Michelin star. The acclaimed multi-course experience is led by Executive Chef Masanori Tomikawa. The cuisine focuses on the purity of traditional Japanese ingredients, in a minimalistic, balanced style.

The restaurant is enveloped in Japanese wood, with floor to ceiling views onto the serene Japanese garden. Traditional kimono-clad waitresses serve delicately-crafted kaiseki dishes, while at the sushi counter decades of expertise are on show as chefs prepare sushi and sashimi. Through the sliding screen doors lies the traditional tatami room, ideal for private meetings or special occasions.

The majority of your colleagues are Japanese. Together with the team, you provide authentic Japanese service.

Teppanyaki Restaurant Sazanka

Teppanyaki Restaurant Sazanka is located on the ground floor of Hotel Okura Amsterdam and is led by chef de cuisine, Kazuki Onodera. Sharing tables around the griddles ensures a social atmosphere in the restaurant and it means that you have close contact with the guests as a chef. At Sazanka you work with a team that consists of employees from different cultures; Japanese, but also Dutch colleagues are working here. Top quality ingredients are complemented by an extensive choice of sakes and wines, while you provide world-class Japanese service.

Serre Restaurant

Serre Restaurant has a Bib Gourmand, which means that it has an excellent price / quality ratio. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, a delicious business lunch, afternoon drinks or dinner. This mixture of leisure and business guests ensures that every working day will be very diverse. The menu offers internationally inspired dishes with seasonal, fresh ingredients. In addition, there is an extensive wine list that guests can choose from. You will get to meet and work with people from all over the world and deliver exquisite service together with the team. Additionally, you will receive plenty of opportunities and training possibilities to develop yourself and your skills.

Le Camelia /Roomservice & Main Kitchen

The breakfast buffet in Le Camelia includes influences from both European and Asian cuisine. As part of the Le Camelia team, you also take care of serving room service in the hotel. You will get to meet people from all over the world and your work is very diverse.

The main kitchen is responsible for the preparation of dishes including breakfast and room service, but also the Lobby Bar and banquet operations. The banquet operations department of Hotel Okura Amsterdam is the largest among all five-star hotels in the Netherlands, and is the market leader in terms of turnover and quality. Taking care of the dishes within the main kitchen means working at a very high level. You will be working together with a large team, having an extensive variety of nationalities around you. Everyone brings their own expertise to the table and you are provided with excellent development opportunities in order to develop your skill set.
