What to expect
The Marketing & Communication team consists of one Marketing & Communication Manager, Social Media & content Creator, E–commerce Marketeer and a trainee. The team is responsible for the internal and external communication channels within the Hotel, restaurants and bars, cooking studio, Nagomi Spa & Health and Banquet facilities. 

As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator you will be responsible together with our Marketing and Communications department, for the internal and external communication of Hotel Okura Amsterdam. You will design and apply tasks concerning internal and external communication. You will handle assignments for collaborations or reports within the hotel such as external parties or bloggers. You will write memo’s for internal communication, spread social media posts and write text for websites or articles. You will assist in constructing monthly reports and provide press tours within the Hotel. Your main tasks will be:

  • Writing texts for newsbriefs, press releases and campaigns
  • External communication with different companies
  • Coordinate internal interviews
  • Support team members and manager

Working days are from Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00. To assist during events, you may need to work in the evening or on weekends.One day work from home is a possibility. 

What do we offer

  • Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay!

What are we asking 
Of course, we are first and foremost interested in you and what we can do for you as an employer to provide you a great workplace. However, we expect you to:

  • MBO level graduate of related study
  • At least a year experience of the same function
  • You have excellent knowledge of both Dutch and English (fluency in both written and spoken);
  • You are service-oriented and possess strong communication skills;
  • You are willing to work in a very diverse environment
