Assistant Service Manager Serre Restaurant

What are you going to do?
As Assistant Service Manager you work closely together with the Service Manager and are responsible for managing the team in absence of the Service Manager. The focus lies on training and development of the team to obtain constant improvement.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Operational work in the restaurant in order to coach and guide the team
  • Giving instructions with regards to standards and work procedures
  • Assist in the development of excellent guest contact and taking care of the correct handling of requests and remarks of both guests and colleagues
  • Providing and receiving information from / to Service Manager and F&B Office
  • Responsible for the introduction of new employees
  • Continue the excellent collaboration with other departments within the hotel
  • In case of absence of the Service Manager, taking care of the duties of the Service Manager
  • Follow standards set up by the hotel (align with standards of Leading Hotels of the World) and Michelin

Working days & working hours
Serre Restaurant is opened 7 days a week during lunch and dinner. Work is carried out in shifts during 7 days a week.
You work 5 days a week, 7,6 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays.

Who are you?

  • You show similar work experience in luxury hotels and/or restaurants
  • You have excellent leading skills
  • You are flexible and able to coach and motivate a team
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written)

Serre Restaurant opened in 2011 and is awarded with a Bib Gourmand for it’s excellent price/quality ratio. In Serre Restaurant, a selection of Ciel Bleu’s signature dishes of the last years are presented in a different way. The menu includes classical as well as innovative dishes and forms an international blend of diverse dishes. The quality and presentation are in the style of Ciel Bleu, presented in a fresh way

Who are your colleagues?
The Serre Restaurant team consists alongside the Assistant Service Manager of; three Restaurant Supervisors, five Waiters, one Senior Waiter, two Trainees en one Apprentice.
