Supervisor Sazanka Restaurant

What are you going to do?
As Supervisor guiding and coaching of team members is a large part of your responsibilities. Welcoming our guests in a professional and warm manner, as well as assisting in improving efficiency and service in the restaurant are also your tasks. We are looking for someone who is wanting to learn and develop, at the same time wants to become an important part of the Sazanka family. After an extensive training program to get used to the Sazanka standard you will fully focus on your responsibilities as a supervisor.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Training and coaching the team;
  • Maintaining intensive guest contact, also in a foreign language;
  • Pro-actively selling restaurant products;
  • Operational tasks in the restaurant, such as taking orders, serving guests, arranging payments and cleaning up;
  • Performing daily activities with regards to Mise en Place within the restaurant;
  • Following guidelines with regards to safety, Arbo, hygiene and HACCP;
  • Working in a multicultural environment;
  • Ensuring that the tables and restaurant remain clean and presentable.


Working days & working hours
Work is carried out in shifts during 7 days a week. The shifts are flexible within a 38 hour week, during 5 days a week. You are also available to work on public holidays.

Who are you?

  • You show similar work experience in luxury hotels and/or restaurants, with a minimum of 2 years;
  • You employ demonstrable leading skills;
  • You are able to coach and motivate a team;
  • You are representative;
  • You are guest oriented;
  • You have an eye for detail;
  • You have a flexible work attitude with regards to work shifts;
  • Knowledge of the Japanese culture and customs is an advantage for this position;
  • You have a good command of the English language (both spoken as written)

Sazanka Restaurant

The Sazanka Restaurant (1 Michelin) is a traditional Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant where the chefs prepare delicious dishes on a hot iron plate at the guest table. The restaurant boasts eleven Teppan grills that each offer room for seven to ten people and are ideal for business and/or festive occasions. The Sazanka Restaurant is opened from 6.30 p.m. until 10 p.m. and can also be booked for lunches for groups from ten or more persons.

Who are your colleagues?

The Sazanka Restaurant team consists of a Senior Service Manager, a Assistent Service Manager, two Restaurant Managers, a Sommelier, a Assistant Sommelier, eleven Waiters and an Apprentice.

Contract: 1 year contract, possibility to extend
